Hi, Nelson. (Repositorio)
Sorry, my new friend is not a Koala (although I want to make it clear that I have nothing against Koalas.)

Maybe a Kangaroo??? Or a Tasman Evil? But the look is so cute!!!

Nelson, I love your eagerness to get this right, but--
no, it is not a Kangaroo, and
no, it is not a toothy Tasmanian Devil.
Gotcha!

Logan Maggie,
Thanks for leaving a comment. You are sure cute! I wish I could say you are right--however, no, it is not a dog.

My new friend is a Wombat!

Ah, well done, Calle, Halle and Sukki! I was still prevaricating on some sort of beaked mammal! Thanks Mandu, that was fun!

You do know that just because he is from "Down Under" doesn't mean you have to be upside down to look at him!!

That is an awful cute Wombat.. what is its name?

Sweet Purrfections said...

Even though that Wombat is cute, it's spooky having those big eyes looking over you. MOL

Mandu! How lucky of you to have a wombat as a friend! What's its name??

Linens and Royals said...

Lucky Mandu to have a wombat friend but be very nice to him as wombats have sharp claws and can sometimes be bad tempered. I have seen them in the bush but would never try to pat one.

Hi, Island Cats.
I haven't named my Wombat yet.
Maybe Willie?
Maybe I should have a contest.

Hi, L&R.
Mom says she was able to pet a small, domesticated Wombat at a care facility. He had his face buried in the crook of a caretaker's elbow.
I must say he is keeping me up all night looking for food.

Is it really a wombat? Mom wants to know if you work with a zoo?
