Prelude to Number 10 (Meet My Box-Loving Friends)

Orphaned at 10 days old.
So sad.......
No mom or dad. (They were involved in a crime. I can't say more.)
Nice lady named Shreve found him and took care of him. (What a nice lady!) With her constant care, he has grown into a very nice and respectable boy.

This will be one of those "don't try this at home" stories. It takes a very special person to be a Mom to this boy.

Just Thinking......

You know, "10" is an important number.
I need to pick someone really special for "10".
Someone different, unique, unusual, exotic.....

I know!!!!
My friend in Wyoming!!

You don't mind waiting, do you?
I think a famous person once said, " Most of the pleasure is in the anticipation" (or something like that).
I mean, he's really a special boy (uh-oh, I said "boy"). I'd better sign off for today....

Meet My Box-Loving Friends, Part 9

Aqui está o meu querido amigo, Gotchi.
Gotchi lives in Portugal (so I am practicing my Portuguese!)
He is so special! And is just a few days younger than I am (2 years old).

......and he loves boxes!

Look! This is one of my favorite pictures! He is a good boy when he gets his toenails trimmed!

Go watch him brushing his teeth by clicking here. You are so smart, Gotchi!

Meet My Box-Loving Friends, Part 8

No.  Just Sukki  times 4.
She lives with her sisters Halle and Calle .
They lead a spiffy (Definition: "smart in appearance, stylish") life, so this box thing is quite unusual for them.
It's hard to decide which of the 3 girls I like best; however, the girl in the box wins!

Another important note: They have absolutely one of the best secretaries in the cat blogosphere! I think she must work at it 24 hours a day!

When Sukki is not in boxes, click here for another place to find her.

Meet My Box-Loving Friends, Part 7

LUNA speaks Portuguese.  She is from Brazil, although she is living in Luxembourg now.
I'll have to visit her, also, when I sail across the seas on my boat to Europe.
She is a very smart girl.

I love her beautiful whiskers. To see them, click here.

Meet My Box-Loving Friends, Part 6

This girl is about as cute as they get! This is ROSIE from Massachusetts.
She is 17 years old! (She looks young for her age, don't you think?)

And, she's grey! (Grey is Great!) Click on her name to go to her blog.

Method to My Madness

Mother's Day is coming up next Sunday, so I decided to order a hardback book for her (they come in bigger boxes, which suit me better). I hope she likes it. (19th Century Embroidery Techniques, or something like that.)

(Oh, dear.  This was supposed to be "Wordless Wednesday".)
Uh, oh. Maybe it's Thursday.  I think I slept through Wednesday......
