I was born in northern Connecticut. It was a long ride home to southeastern Connecticut when my Mom picked me up. On the way home, she asked if I'd like to be called "K2" after the second highest mountain in the Himalayas, or if I would prefer to be called "Mandu", too, like the cat before me. I told her I much preferred, "Mandu, Too", so that is how I got my name.
